The second episode of Big Red Faceoff features Joe and Mike Devin of the Hockey team and Basketball players Aaron Osgood and Adam Wire. They faceoff in Lacrosse on Schoellkopf field with a little help from goalie Andrew West.
Senior Mark Coury contributed eight points and six rebounds and classmate Adam Wire put in seven points, six boards and a pair of blocks as the Red outlasted Yale 68-55 on Senior Night.
Although Cornell started off strong and took a three point lead into the half, old habits caught up with the Red as they were again, unable to close a tight one out. Brian Barbour led the comeback for Columbia as the Lions picked up the 70-66 victory in Newman Arena.

After Steve Donahue departed for Boston College, Andy Noel and the Cornell athletic department were tasked with finding the new Robert E. Gallagher Head Coach of Men’s Basketball. Noel found his man in Bill Courtney. Tune in to find out a little bit more about the new head man in Ithaca.
On Friday afternoon, Cornell officially introduced Bill Courtney as the 21st men’s basketball head coach in school history, replacing Steve Donahue who departed for Boston College on April 6th.
