Slope TV’s Arthur Mansbach and Ben Rosenthal went behind the scenes at the men’s basketball practices to get the inside scoop on the upcoming season.  They spoke with senior Captain Chris Wroblewski and Head Coach Bill Courtney.

Senior Mark Coury contributed eight points and six rebounds and classmate Adam Wire put in seven points, six boards and a pair of blocks as the Red outlasted Yale 68-55 on Senior Night.

“It was fun,” Adam Wire finally concluded, struggling to find the appropriate words to summarize his four years in a Big Red uniform.

The Red opened senior weekend with a win on Friday night, handling Brown 75-66 en route to a season sweep of the Bears.

2/27/11 – Despite 23 points from Freshman Miles Cartwright, Mark Coury and Anthony Gatlin power the Big Red past Penn in the final seconds.  After two nail biters against the Quakers, the Big Red able to come out on top in both, earning the season sweep.

He played all of five minutes against Division I opponents last season, recording two rebounds and a pair of turnovers as his only official statistics.
