Former Cornell Head Coach Steve Donahue spent 10 years on the sidelines in Ithaca, New York. Donahue had an all-time record of 146-138 with Cornell, producing:
2 – Ivy League Players of the Year
2 – Associated Press All-Americans
2 – ESPN The Magazine Academic All-Americans
4 – Ivy League Rookies of the Year
8 – NABC All-District selections
9 – First-team All-Ivy League selections
8 – Second-team All-Ivy League selections
Also, Donahue won the Clair Bee Coach of the Year Award in 2010 which recognizes the coach who has made the most significant positive contributions to his sport during the year.
Donahue took Ivy League Basketball out of the grasp of Penn and Princeton and won 3 straight Ivy League titles while with the Big Red. He led Cornell to the Sweet 16 in the 2010 NCAA Tournament. Donahue has now accepted the coaching challenge of re-building the Boston College program in the ACC.
