13 Childhood Shows you Should Rewatch

You cannot talk about old TV shows without including this iconic cartoon. This is the classic example of “they don’t make it the way they used to,” because new episodes still air but will never compare to the hilarious beginning seasons. Watch some old reruns to remind yourself that even a sponge under the sea has his share of drama and can’t pass tests.

Another gem that is still airing new episodes, but has changed drastically. Everyone wanted Cosmo and Wanda to make their wishes come true and their lives easier. Green and pink were your favorite colors by default and Mr. Crocker was the teacher we all loved to hate. When you start watching you’ll be wishing the nostalgia wasn’t hitting you so hard.

The best thing was pretending you were a childhood spy trying to take out all the evil adults around you. These kids-turned-secret-agents had the best codenames and the most creative plot to take down obscure villains. It’s too bad we are those said adults now, but at least we can forget about it for awhile when we’re rewatching the series.

Ron Stoppable and his naked mole rat made you think you could be the clumsy, wildcard sidekick to Kim’s unstoppable spy skills. This show will remind you that anything is possible with Kim Possible.

Everyone felt like they could be a childhood prodigy and we were just anticipating our first brain blast. If we could all solve our problems as creatively as Jimmy, we would have no problems now. If you didn’t have a dog, your goal was to build Goddard and in your spare time make a flying hovercraft. Jimmy Neutron will have you feeling creative and more innovative than ever.

We all wanted to live with Uncle Phil in his Bel-Air mansion and get away with making idiotic mistakes like Will. His fashion sense may have been stuck in the ‘90s, but his comedy is timeless. When you start watching, you are guaranteed to be laughing at Carlton’s dancing and Hillary’s ignorance all day and all night.

Who didn’t love the quirky skits and nonsense scenes that comprised All That? This show was our childhood SNL with characters wilder than our imaginations.Taking it back to the goofy comedy era will make you forget all your troubles.

Remember when you couldn’t wait to get to middle school so you could implement all of Ned’s advice into your life? And then being heartbroken when you came to realize school was never that fun and you filled the void by watching more episodes of the ideal middle school experience? Ned will take you back to when middle school “dating” was your biggest problem.

This show will remind you what it was like to just worry about what prank Megan was plotting rather than what internship you’re applying for this summer.

“Did I do that?” is always the first thing that comes to mind when you think of this show. Urkel was the awkward, stereotypical nerd you never wanted to be but couldn’t help but love. His pining for Laura was hilarious and his constant intrusion into the Winslow family made you think he was one of them.
