This story has once again shaken France to its core. Four men are accused of committing monstrous acts against the partners and ex-partners of one of them. Worse still, they allegedly filmed and published their actions to satisfy even more despicable desires. Read on for all the details in this article!
Libertine Nights at a Whole New Level!
The first victim, whose identity remains confidential, endured this hell for three consecutive years, from 2020 to 2023. Her former partner, named Christophe B., took her to libertine gatherings with other men. There, she faced a gang rape while her partner filmed the entire scene!
In the home of the main suspect, in clubs, and even outdoors, it appears that his tormentors are accustomed to these libertine nights. According to the public prosecutor of Bordeaux: “She describes a strategy of manipulation adopted by her partner, which allowed him to impose several filmed gang rapes on her”.
Four other women subsequently filed complaints against the same man. They recount horrific scenes of torture involving objects and animals, as well as insults written on their skin with a marker. This has revealed that these barbaric acts have been ongoing since 2011!
“The very difficult questioning of four other successive partners of this man allowed them to recount scenes similar to those described by the first complainant”, stated Renaud Gaudeul.
The Four Men Posted Everything Online!
In July 2024, Bordeaux authorities arrested the main suspect. According to the prosecutor: “While he did not contest the existence of these sexual relations between his successive partners and groups of men, including himself, he claimed that they were always consensual”.
Investigators then began to track down the other participants in the libertine gatherings. Thanks to the videos found at the suspect’s residence, they were able to identify three other men, aged between 40 and 57. Members of libertine clubs in the metropolitan area may have also taken part in the events. Others who discovered the videos, however, did not speak out!
“One of these men eventually admitted to being aware of his female partner’s lack of consent, while the others maintained the opposite”, said prosecutor Renaud Gaudeul. However, the prosecution disagrees. The screams in the videos indicated an absence of consent from the victims!
This is not the view of Me Julien Plouton, the lawyer for the main suspect. “He sees himself as someone who does not have a specific violent issue with women and acknowledges certain practices, but states that they fall within the realm of libertine practices that were freely consented to”, he noted.
How Will They Defend Themselves?
As one can imagine, the main perpetrator of the abuse claims he has done nothing wrong. According to his lawyer: “I don’t think that in a case like this, we can be satisfied with an investigation that focuses only on my client and the people who have currently been charged alongside him”.
Two investigating judges are handling the necessary investigations to clarify this case. They have already seized property belonging to Christophe B. If their investigation leads to charges, these men face life imprisonment!
