Jessica Haizman is a 31-year-old American, mother of two, and a content creator. She is used to being in front of the camera to engage with her followers. However, this time she finds herself in the spotlight for a unfortunate reason!
It all started last year when she and her baby attended a wedding. Amid the jovial atmosphere, with glasses clinking and everyone celebrating the newlyweds, the young mother noticed that her child was hungry. Without hesitation, she took out her breast to feed him!
A few days later, one of Jessica’s friends informed her that her other friends were uncomfortable with her action. He himself felt “uncomfortable” because he allegedly saw her nipple! This revelation led to a heated argument between them.
Later, the young woman discovered that none of her friends wished to communicate with her anymore. In response, she chose to create a video to share her perspective and speak out against such situations. She began the video stating: “I didn’t expect to lose all my friends for breastfeeding my son.”

Initially, Jessica felt humiliated and wondered if she should have been more discreet. However, she later realized that she hadn’t done anything wrong. Therefore, she has no intention of apologizing to her friends. In fact, she is glad to have escaped from a friendship that turned out to be false!
In her video, she shares excerpts from her friend’s messages while breastfeeding her three-year-old daughter. “I never expected to be humiliated for breastfeeding… especially not by my closest friends. It hurt me in a way I hadn’t anticipated,” she expressed.
During the ceremony, Jessica believed she was surrounded by supportive people. She stated, “If I may have revealed too much, it’s because I was among people who were supportive of me. It wasn’t like I was out in public where I would have been more discreet.” Unfortunately, the situation took a tragically disappointing turn!
One of her acquaintances even reportedly filed a complaint against her. Jessica is unaware of who this person is, but she realizes that attempting to mend their friendship is pointless. “A woman should never have to choose between being a mother and being accepted,” she remarked.
She embodies the voice of many other women!
Jessica is certainly not the first to face such discrimination. Nonetheless, the law is clear: a woman has the right to breastfeed her child anywhere. Today, she aims to fight against the stigma associated with breastfeeding.
She asserts: “I wanted it to be clear that, regardless of the circumstances, breastfeeding your baby is not a sexual act and is acceptable in any situation. It’s nearly the most natural thing in the world.” She concluded by saying: “Be a source of visibility and inspire another mother. Remember that it’s normal, natural, and beautiful, and that you are absolutely not doing anything wrong.”
